Voller Kontrast style
Voller Kontrast has an attractive style, which mixes illustration, sketched art, painting and watercolor effects. They are all combined with brave contrast and strong, bold outlines. Sometimes his work is closer to new school style, sometimes almost abstract designs.
Voller Kontrast is one of those tattooists who draws directly on the skin. He makes freestyle sketches, to visualize his client’s ideas and then decides how to continue after he starts with the ink.
He always adds sharp borders between color and line, image and background. Many of his backgrounds contain blur and watercolor effects. They are in total contrast with the rough edges of the rest of the design. Brush strokes and freestyle graffiti letters are frequent in his tattoos.
Voller Kontrast’s favorite subjects are animals and portraits. He likes to use sharp polygonal shading to fill the areas, always with bright colors, with some preference to orange ink. His tattoos with foxes and birds are simply unique and full of energy. He likes sleeves and half leg tattoos, as well as larger shoulder and chest pieces.
